About Us

Andrew Guzzetti has been coaching and teaching people his entire professional life. Upon receiving his BA in Economics from Utica College, Mr. Guzzetti began his career as a high school Math and Economics teacher.

Mr. Guzzetti has over 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to founding A to Z Recruiting, Mr. Guzzetti was a financial consultant for 5 years before stepping into a number of high level corporate management positions. During his 29 year tenure in management, Mr. Guzzetti was instrumental in training new financial consultants and branch managers for a number of financial firms. In 2001 and 2002 he was asked to speak to a group of Industry leaders and managers from over 15 countries about how to build and grow a successful financial practice. He also served as an adjunct instructor at Temple University, teaching an Entrepreneurship course at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Mr. Guzzetti also has years of experience in coaching, serving as a football and baseball coach at both the high school and college levels. His 13 year coaching experience includes being the Head Football Coach at T.R. Proctor High School in Utica, NY, and the Assistant Football Coach and Head Baseball Coach for Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. In this capacity he coached young people by teaching the skills and techniques of each sport, until each athlete was able to perform at the level of his individual potential. Although these two sports are “team” sports, he coached them as individuals, recognizing each one’s talents and needs. Mr. Guzzetti was a regular TV commentator on a local Fox affiliate because of his understanding of financial planning, the markets and economics and his ability to teach people in layman terms.

Andy recently authored a new book titled “Coaching Up: From high school football to Wall St.”. The book is a crucial “how to” manual on building teams of financial professionals so as to enable their clients to meet lucrative financial goals and objectives. The material contained in this manuscript will not only be a help to rookie sales’ people, but is also a curriculum to “coach up” experienced advisors and managers. Whether it’s coaching football players or students in high school algebra, similar concepts and ideas apply to young advisors. As you read this book, understand that these concepts discussed can be used by anyone who wants to help others succeed, build a team, manage an office or lead a corporation. The book is available online at Amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com and many other retail outlets.
